Week 4 of Stay Home

Hey hey! How are you? How have you felt in week 4 of stay at home?

This week has been busy for us. My kids started online school, and that had some challenges. But we seem to be getting into a routine, and the kids are n longer as stressed out. They do miss their friends and teachers, and some sort of normal.

This week I embarked on doing some Live “Coffee Chats” with some of my friends in the industry. We started with Anje-Ilana from Madison and West Lifestyle Division https://www.madisonandwestlifestyle.com/ We chatted about “Life, Passion and What’s Next”

Later today I’ll be chatting with Mari-Louise of the Just a Mamma Blog https://justamamma.com/ – we’re chatting about “Live with Intention” and I am super excited to share with you in this

On a more personal note, this week has been tough for me. I miss my family, my church, friends. I’m increasingly anxious about what awaits us. As I saw people who are starving on the streets, having to resort to looting supermarkets, my heart just broke! I am frustrated that I am forced to stay in my yard, unable to help! I’m making masks with whatever fabric I have around and trying to distribute them. I am not one to just sit around, I like taking action. My Pastor taught me, to walk my talk! My Pastor also taught me, that in times when you don’t have financial means to sow – you sow what you have. In my case, that is my ability to sew masks and distribute them.

Speaking of finances…How have you been impacted Financially? La Fede Friends are not deemed an essential, and for that reason i am unable to make any for of income in this time. Which is scary! I know that business is going to look allot different after this. I’ve been planning to pivot a bit to a more online offering in terms of Tutorials, and am busy working on content to start up a YouTube channel. I’ll be sure to share with you once I am ready to launch…which will be soon!

What I’ve learned in this time of Isolation is, to start! Even if things aren’t perfect, just start! And we are resilient! Our children are resilient! Having Faith now more than ever is my saving grace. I’ve also just been reminded again, how great God is! In every season He is full of Grace and Mercy for us, He loves us, and He provides.

Proverbs 3:6 says ” Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take”

2 Corinthians 9:10 says ” For God is the one who provides the seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you”

If I could leave you with one thought today. Yes things are uncertain and you may feel anxious in this time. Now is the time to think outside of the box. And color in many different colors. And that makes me excited!

Be blessed! Have a wonderful week

All my Love

Chantelle xoxo
